Syracuse Children's Chorus2008-2009: Our 28th Season!
The internationally acclaimed Syracuse Children's Chorus has performed from Carnegie Hall to China, serving as Central New York's musical ambassadors to the world. Founded at Syracuse University in 1981 by Barbara M. Tagg, the Chorus is recognized for musical excellence and as a model for performance-based choral music education.
The Syracuse Children's Chorus creates collaborative experiences in which young people share their joy of singing, develop their sense of beauty and deepen their commitment to excellence through choral music education and performance.
The Syracuse Children's Chorus is a member of Chorus America and is supported in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
