The internationally acclaimed Syracuse Children's Chorus has performed from Carnegie Hall to China, serving as Central New York's musical ambassadors to the world. Founded at Syracuse University in 1981 by Barbara M. Tagg, the Chorus is recognized for musical excellence and as a model for performance-based choral music education.

The Syracuse Children's Chorus creates a collaborative environment in which young people experience the joy of singing, develop a vision of beauty and establish a commitment to excellence through choral music education and performance.
